GB7258-1997 Motor vehicle operation safety technical conditions

3 Definition

This standard uses the following definition

3.1 routine maintenance

Taking cleaning, replenishment and safety inspection as the content of the operation center, the driver is responsible for vehicle maintenance.

3.2 Elementary maintenance

In addition to daily maintenance operations, cleaning, lubrication, and fastening are the main content of the operation. And check the safety components of the relevant system, operation, etc., and the vehicle maintenance work performed by the maintenance enterprise.

3.3 Complete maintenance

Except for first-level maintenance operations. Mainly inspect and adjust steering knuckles, steering rocker arms, brake shoes, suspensions and other safety components that are prone to wear or deformation after a certain period of use, and dismantle and inspect the tires, perform tire replacement, check and adjust the working conditions of the engine and Exhaust pollution control devices, etc., are responsible for vehicle maintenance operations performed by maintenance companies.

4 Car maintenance classification and cycle

4.1 Classification of vehicle maintenance

Daily maintenance, primary maintenance, secondary maintenance.

4.2 Car maintenance cycle

4.2.1 Routine maintenance cycle

Before getting out of the car, while driving, after collecting.

4.2.2 The period of primary maintenance and secondary maintenance

4.2.2.1 The determination of the first and second maintenance intervals of an automobile shall be based on the mileage of the automobile.

The mileage of the first and second level maintenance of automobiles is based on the relevant provisions of the vehicle manual, and at the same time, according to the different conditions of automobile use, the provincial transportation administrative department.

4.2.2.2 First and second maintenance intervals.

For cars that are inconvenient to use trip mileage statistics and assessment, the first and second maintenance intervals can be determined by the driving time interval. The time (day) interval can be different according to the use intensity and conditions of the car. Refer to the vehicle's primary and secondary maintenance mileage cycle to determine.

5 Routine maintenance

5.1 Clean the appearance of the car and the appearance of the engine to keep the car clean and tidy.

5.2 Inspection and replenishment of lubricating oil (grease), fuel, coolant, brake fluid, various working media, and tire pressure of various parts of the automobile.

5.3 Inspect and tighten the safety parts and positions of the car such as braking, steering, transmission, suspension, lights, and signals, and the running state of the engine to ensure safe travel.

6 Primary maintenance

See Table 1 for the contents of primary maintenance operations.

Table 1 First-level maintenance operation content serial number project operation content technical requirements
1 Check and adjust the ignition system to work normally
2 The engine air filter, air compressor air filter, crankcase ventilation system air filter, oil filter and fuel filter should be cleaned or replaced. The filter element should be clean and free of damage, the upper and lower gaskets should be intact and sealed Good; the filter should be clean and firmly installed
3 Crankcase oil level, carburetor oil level, coolant liquid level, system liquid level height inspection meet the regulations
4 The appearance inspection of the crankcase ventilation device and three-way catalytic conversion device is complete and there is no damage
5 Check the connection bolts of radiator, oil pan, engine front and rear support pads, water pump, air compressor, intake and exhaust manifold, carburetor, fuel transfer pump, fuel injection pump. Pins, washers and rubber pads should be intact and effective
6 Check the belt wear and aging degree of the air compressor, generator and air conditioner belt, adjust the belt tightness to meet the regulations
7 Steering gear Check the liquid surface and sealing condition of the steering gear, lubricate the universal joint cross shaft, horizontal tie rod, ball stud, steering knuckle and other parts in compliance with regulations
8 Clutch check and adjustment The clutch operating mechanism should be sensitive and reliable; the free stroke of the pedal should meet the regulations
9 Transmission and differential Check the liquid level and seal of the transmission and differential, lubricate the universal joint cross shaft and intermediate bearing of the transmission shaft, tighten the connecting bolts of each part, and clean the vent plugs to comply with the regulations
10 Brake system check and tighten all brake pipelines, check and adjust the brake pedal free stroke brake pipeline joints should not leak, the bracket bolts are tightened reliably. The brake linkage mechanism should be sensitive and reliable, no water accumulation in the air reservoir, and the free stroke of the brake pedal meets the regulations
11 Check the frame, body and accessories, and tighten the bolts, tow hooks, and hooks to be reliable, without cracks, movements, complete and effective
12 Check the tire rim and bead stop ring; check the tire air pressure (including spare tire), and check the air supply; check the wheel hub bearing clearance. ; No obvious looseness in wheel bearing clearance
13 Suspension mechanism inspection without damage, reliable connection
14 Check the battery level of the electrolyte. The height of the electrolyte should meet the regulations, the vent hole is unobstructed, and the electric pile chuck is clean and firm.
15 Lights, instruments and signal devices are fully and effectively inspected, and the installation is firm
16 Lubricating point lubrication of the whole vehicle Each lubrication is installed correctly, complete and effective
17 Whole vehicle inspection The whole vehicle has no oil leakage, no water leakage, no air leakage, no electricity leakage, no dust leakage, and all kinds of dust covers are complete and effective. Note: "Compliance with the regulations" in the technical requirements column means compliance with the relevant regulations in actual use .

7 Secondary maintenance

7.1 Secondary maintenance operation process

Car second-level maintenance must first be tested. After the car enters the factory, according to the vehicle technical file records (including vehicle operation records, maintenance records, test records, assembly repair records, etc.) and the driver's technical status of vehicle use (including Vehicle dynamics, abnormal noise, steering, braking and fuel consumption, etc.) determine the required test items, and perform fault diagnosis based on the test results and the actual technical status of the vehicle to determine additional operations. After the additional operation items are determined, secondary maintenance operations are performed together with the basic operation items. The process inspection shall be carried out during the secondary maintenance process. The technical requirements of the process inspection project shall meet the relevant technical standards or specifications; after the completion of the secondary maintenance operation, the maintenance enterprise shall conduct a completion inspection. Vehicles that pass the completion inspection shall be filled in by the maintenance enterprise "Automotive maintenance completion certificate" can only leave the factory.

7.2 The process diagram of the secondary maintenance process is shown in Figure 1.

7.3 Automobile secondary maintenance testing and diagnosis

7.3.1 When testing the second-level maintenance testing items of automobiles, special testing instruments for the testing items should be used at the same time, and the accuracy of the instruments must meet the relevant regulations.

7.3.2 The technical requirements of the secondary vehicle maintenance and inspection project should refer to relevant national technical standards. Or the original factory requirements.

7.3.3 See Table 2 for the second-level maintenance testing items of automobiles.
