Since May 2003, a group of the world’s most advanced hydropower construction equipment, such as mobile crushers, have been shipped from the place of production to the Longtan Hydropower Project site.

It is reported that the Longtan Hydropower Project, which is under construction with a total investment of RMB 24.3 billion, not only uses many of the world’s most advanced equipment, but also uses a large number of hydropower construction system integration technologies for the project construction. Using the world's most advanced pre-split light explosion technology and vertical inclined-hole pre-cracking technology for rock anchor beam excavation, the world’s most advanced “Rapid-Pressure Concrete Rapid Construction Technology under Special Climate” has also become an architectural Longtan Hydropower Station. The main technology used by the dam, the power station also applies the "Rapid Concrete Roller Compacted Concrete Construction Technology in Special Climates" invented by our country's experts, and the dam seepage prevention technology pioneered by China. In addition, the Longtan Hydropower Project has also applied the world's top information network technology.
