After the objection is raised, the merchant proposes two options. One is that the consumer pays another 1200 yuan, the leather material is replaced by leather, and the one is redone; the second is the consumer return, but the 20% loss of the goods and the freight. Because of the lack of consultation, Ms. Zhang complained about the matter to the Harbin Consumers Association. According to the Harbin Consumers Coordination Check, the contents of the sofa customization contract signed by the consumer and the operator are not detailed enough. The basic terms such as the color, specification and texture of the ordered product are not specified, and they are arbitrarily consumed without consultation with the consumer. It was unfair to pick the leather. The appearance of the delivered product is different from the sample, and the operator has a breach of contract and should bear legal responsibility. After mediation, the merchant handled the return for the consumer.

In response to recent major consumer complaints about furniture complaints, the Harbin Consumers Association issued a consumer warning to remind consumers to pay attention to four points when purchasing furniture:

First, select large-scale shopping malls with good reputation and standardized business to select goods, complete the purchase contract, payment receipts and other materials, and promptly complain in case of disputes.

Second, when signing a contract, the basic terms such as the subject matter, quality requirements, implementation standards, price, performance method, and performance period of the contract must be clearly stated and detailed. If it is found in the implementation that it needs to be revised or supplemented, the two parties shall negotiate in time to sign the change and supplement the agreement.

Third, according to the product customized by the sample, the consumer can record and photograph the sample, copy the product code and save it, and check the goods when the operator delivers the product.

Fourth, if a format contract is signed, the terms shall not contain content that is unfair to the consumer. The merchant shall perform the obligation to guarantee the quality of the goods and deliver on time according to the regulations and contractual agreements.

Fifth, before paying the deposit, consumers should fully understand the information of the goods, choose according to actual needs, avoid the hassle of paying the deposit, and reduce unnecessary losses. If the operator fails to fulfill the agreement, he will face the consequences of double returning the deposit.
