New ink can be conductive future newspapers can intelligently speak

A new type of ink with a conductive function has recently attracted attention. It can make newspapers and other printed materials much cheaper by replacing wires, circuit boards, and batteries and can also enable newspapers to "open talk." At present, a small company called T-Ink in New York, USA, is advocating the use of this conductive ink in daily printing operations. Andrew Ferber, T-Ink’s vice chairman of the board of directors, stated: “Our goal is to develop a newspaper that we can speak for ourselves, because this kind of newspaper will be printed by ink instead of a circuit board.”
But for now, the above technologies can only be applied in a limited area. Projects that R&D staff are considering include diapers with built-in humidity sensors, touch-sensitive pharmaceutical boxes designed specifically for elderly people to read medication instructions, wall-mounted wall-light switches, and safety sensors sprayed on windows. T-Ink said that it is promoting the above technologies in the field of toys.
